You can pretty much get a campsite. Its not fancy but the price is right. And it is on the coast. With views of the ocean. Karoke on Friday nights. Store is pricey. So bring lots of provisions. The fish is delicious. And fishermen love to share their catch. Its pretty laid back . not fussy. Will comeback.

Great place, clean...has a nice fish n chips / shop on the property... taco van by camphost spot. I do not recommended taking a big camper... small camper only as the road to get here is crazy...switchbacks, massive ...massive descent and occasional rocks on road. ..and partial road closures due to erosion... I suggest tent camping or small trailers :) .

Good place to stay. staff was friendly most RV spaced are slightly downhill but easily managed. close to a recently renovated pub that served good food. The biggest thing is getting there, take it slow down the steep hill into Shelter Cove especially if you are at around max towing capacity of your tow vehicle. Exhaust brake recommended!

Great place to gather with fishing friends and their families for tournaments, pot luck and especially for dancing...

Arrived an hour before the posted closing time, both online and at the sign on the gate. The guy at the office was locking up early, likely because it was shoulder season and he didn't expect any more arrivals. I asked if we could stay the night, and he said, "Well, the last guy who had me re-open the office gave me a $20 tip." I mentioned that the sign said they were open for another hour and he just scoffed. Left and stayed at the state camp site nearby - absolutely beautiful spot, if a little remote. Would not recommend this campground, not operated by a customer-focused management and it's clearly seen better days.
